About St. James
St. James Parish is a Roman Rite Catholic parish located in Denmark, Wisconsin, within the Diocese of Green Bay. Saint James the Greater was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus and the brother of John the Apostle. He was martyred in Jerusalem around 44 AD under Herod Agrippa I and is traditionally considered the first apostle to be martyred. He is the patron saint of pilgrims, laborers, and Spain.
