About Precious Blood

Precious Blood Church traces its roots to a chapel of ease begun in 1895 and became an independent parish in 1903, founded by German Catholic immigrant families in the small village of Chickasaw, Ohio. Its brick, cross-shaped church, dedicated in 1967, carries red-glass windows and tilework evoking the Five Wounds. Today the parish belongs to the five-church Marion Catholic Community of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and offers a Saturday vigil, Sunday morning Masses, and midweek liturgies.
