St. Emeric Catholic Church

St. Emeric Church on Cleveland's west side has anchored the city's Hungarian Catholic community for a century — the 100-year-old building still hosts a Sunday Hungarian-language Mass alongside its English liturgies, reflecting the parish's bilingual heritage summed up in its Hungarian name, "Szent Imre Római Katolikus Magyar Egyházközség." Under the Diocese of Cleveland and pastor Rev. Richard Bona, the parish recently merged with St. Elizabeth of Hungary and continues to celebrate traditions like an outdoor Corpus Christi procession and daily 9:00 AM Mass.
