About St. Alexander Catholic Parish

Founded in June 1959 by Archbishop Albert Cardinal Meyer on an 11-acre site donated by the Crawford family, St. Alexander Catholic Parish in Palos Heights serves the southwest suburbs of Chicago with four Sunday Masses and a vibrant K–8 school of about 250 students. Under Pastor Father Marty Michniewicz, the parish fosters a wide-ranging community life through SPRED (Special Religious Education Development), Bible study, Eucharistic adoration, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and domestic violence support services.
