Rooted in the faith of German-Russian Catholic emigrants who settled the Kansas plains in 1876, Our Lady Help of Christians in Antonino was formally established in 1905 and has been served by Capuchin Franciscan fathers ever since. Today Fr. Job Varghese, OFM Cap, leads this close-knit rural community in the Diocese of Salina, where the parish gathers for a Saturday afternoon vigil Mass.
