About St. James
St. James Parish is a Roman Rite parish located in Chicago, IL, within the Diocese of Belleville. Saint James the Greater was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus and the brother of John the Apostle. He was martyred in Jerusalem and is considered the patron saint of Spain and pilgrims.
