In 2026, due to the conjunction with the Memorial of Saint Anthony of Padua, the Immaculate Heart of Mary becomes an Optional Memorial. Saturday is observed as a weekday with three options: the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Saint Anthony of Padua (1195-1231, Franciscan preacher and Doctor of the Church), or BVM on Saturday (per USCCB Calendar Note 6b).
