Saint Isidore of Seville is invoked as patron of the World Wide Web. Isidore was born about 560 in Cartagena into a family of four future saints — his elder brothers Leander and Fulgentius and his sister Florentina. He was educated by Leander, whom he eventually succeeded as Archbishop of Seville about 600.
