Alzheimer's disease is a modern medical diagnosis, and the Catholic Church has not designated a formal patron saint for it. Those who suffer from it, and the families and caregivers who accompany them, traditionally turn to the saints invoked for diseases of the mind, the brain, and the memory, asking their intercession for comfort, patience, and trust in God through a long and painful illness.
The dignity of every person — including those whose memory and reason are failing — remains whole and inviolable in the sight of God. The prayers below are offered both for the sick and for those who love and care for them.
Saint Dymphna is the principal patron of those afflicted by illnesses of the mind and the nervous system — including anxiety, depression, and neurological and cognitive disorders — and of those who care for them. The town of Geel in Belgium, where her relics rest, became one of Europe's earliest centres of compassionate community care for the mentally ill, a tradition that continues to this day. She is widely invoked for those living with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Sources: https://www.newadvent.org/cathen/05221b.htm.
