St. Francis Roman Catholic Church

Saint Francis Roman Catholic Church is a Roman Rite parish located in Anmoore, West Virginia, within the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. The parish is named after Saint Francis of Assisi, an Italian Catholic friar, deacon, and mystic who lived from c. 1181/1182 to 1226. He founded the men's Order of Friars Minor, the women's Order of Saint Clare, and the Third Order of Saint Francis. He is recognized as the patron saint of animals, ecology, and merchants.
